Our primary goal at Presidium is to see our children touch the pinnacles of success and be ‘what they want to be’. With careful monitoring and tendering, we help them pursue their dreams. In an effort to lay foundation of their leadership, a special Role Play Competition was recently organized for students of grades nursery and prep at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. The little, adorable actors impersonated many personalities like teachers, doctors, engineers and homemakers. They shared about myriads of professions and their importance in the society. Their astonishing and remarkable talent truly enthralled everyone!
NATIONAL ROLLER SKATING FINALS: PARI BRINGS HOME SILVER & BRONZE

At the recent 50th National Roller Skating Sports Championship 2017-2018, Pari Gulati, a grade 8 student of Presidium, Dwarka 16B proved her extraordinary sportsmanship and will to win. Organized by the renowned Roller Skating Federation of India in Chennai, the grand competition witnessed participation of countless students. The skating prodigy won a silver medal in 10,000m Point to Point Rink Race and a bronze medal in 20,000m Road Race Elimination.

PRESIDIANS SPEND AN INSPIRING DAY AT INDIAN AIR FORCE MUSEUM
Excursion is a powerful, positive tool that helps enhance the social, personal and emotional development of all learners. Keeping this notion in mind, we at Presidium, took our students on an excursion to the Air Force Museum under theme ‘Travel’. The museum gave an insightful knowledge of the history of the Indian Air Force and its expeditions till now. The sight of fighter planes, tanks, missiles used in war and the photographs of the martyrs inculcated a feeling of patriotism amongst the young Presidians. The trip not only provided a glimpse of our glorified past but also showcased our nation’s reach beyond the sky, to the limitless space as they also witnessed India’s first satellite. It was truly an exhilarating experience for the students!
PRESIDIANS MERRILY CELEBRATE WOMANHOOD ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
‘Behind every successful woman is HERSELF!’
International women’s day is an important occasion for all of us to pause for a moment, to reflect on ourselves, to appreciate how much has been done and what more needs to be done in the field of gender equality. To appreciate womanhood and the achievements, a special assembly was organised at Presidium, Dwarka 16b by the students of grade I and III. The assembly was commenced with a speech on celebrating womanhood followed by a musical skit and a spectacular dance performance demonstrating freedom of women. The girls were beautifully dressed up as leading ladies namely, Lata Mangeshkar, Saina Nehwal, Kalpana Chawla, and Mithali Raj, depicting the importance of women succeeding in various spheres of life.
Presidians skate their way to top at Roller Sports Championship
It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Presidium Dwarka 16B has recently added yet another feather in its achievement cap as our roller skating masters won big at the 44th Delhi State Roller Sports Championship 2017, organised by Delhi Skating Association at G.R international school, Purti Khurd Bawana Road. Our heartiest congratulations to Krisha Gulati, Pari Gulati and Harnoor Arora from grade 3, 8 and 4 who brought back 4 golds, 5 silvers and 1 bronze medal! Kudos to all our champions and their mentors!
PRESIDIANS CONDUCT A MEANINGFUL ASSEMBLY ON FESTIVAL OF COLOURS
To create awareness among our students about the importance of the festival of colours in our life, a special assembly was recently conducted at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. The assembly was started very colourfully as the Presidians welcomed all the teachers by putting tilak on their forehead. Several beautiful performances were presented by the students to share the mythological significance of the day. Rejoicing in the riot of colours, the assembly ended on a note of high spirit and energy with a riveting dance performance by the students, dressed beautifully in traditional attires and threw flowers on each other.
GRADE 1 PRESIDIANS CONDUCT A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON BENEFITS OF YOGA
Yoga means addition - addition of energy, strength and beauty to body, mind and soul!
Considering that Yoga is an important element for everyone’s life as it helps in balancing the relationship between body and mind, our grade 1 students recently organized a spectacular assembly on Benefits of Yoga at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. The assembly began with a speech about yoga, post which, various benefits of yoga were enumerated by the students. Thereafter, they demonstrated different asanas, which are beneficial for improving concentration and overcoming stress and anxiety. Learning that yoga is a spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day, the leaders of tomorrow imbibed the value of discipline.
ASSEMBLY ON TEAMWORK UNFOLDS THE MAGIC OF WORKING AS A TEAM

Considering that teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success, our grade 3 students presented a beautiful assembly on the topic teamwork at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. They acted out the story of ‘The pigeons and the Hunter’, emphasizing on the fact that ‘alone we can do so little but together we can do so much’. Explaining that a team can only work together with respect, trust and care for each other, the leaders of tomorrow reiterated that walking side by side as a team fosters group intelligence.
OUR YOUNG ARTISTS BRING THE ENGLISH PLAY 'MY FAIR LADY' TO LIFE
The journey of Eliza Doolittle, from a poor flower girl to a sophisticated lady was beautifully presented on stage by students of grade 7 recently at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. ‘Learning to be a lady’ is an extract from a popular play ‘My Fair Lady’, adapted from Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion. The play revolves around Professor Higgins, Eliza and Colonel Pickering, wherein Higgins has a bet with Pickering that he can teach Eliza to speak English correctly. With their miraculous performance and exceptional acting skills, our young actors left the audience stunned. The singers added a musical flavour in the play and amused the onlookers. Each student of the class participated enthusiastically and was committed to the responsibility given for making the play successful.
WORK EDUCATION CULMINATION: A GRAND SHOW OF EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Held recently at Presidium, Dwarka 16B, the Work Education culmination was a truly grand spectacle of experiential learning and skill enhancement, achieved by our children over the current academic session. The culmination initiated with the students’ presentations according to their streams - robotics, meal planning, fine arts and dramatics. Promoting self-esteem and motivation in our young learners, the culmination also offered them aesthetic awareness, cultural exposure and social harmony. Relishing this experience of facilitating their development of knowledge, the Presidians showcased their creativity and imaginative skills. It helped students to develop teamwork and co-operation skills. The Culmination Ceremony was the perfect example of ingenuity and imagination!
