SUDHA MA'AM HONOURS THE YOUNG ACHIEVERS OF PRESIDIUM DWARKA 16B
Presidians continue their relentless efforts towards achieving honour and glory and they outshine themselves with every passing year by bringing bountiful laurels to the school. Our honourable chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta recently acknowledged the efforts of our extraordinary achievers who proved their mettle this year also, by bringing home top honours in various fields at the event - Chairperson Honours. Getting recognized by their dearest Sudha Ma'am, the leaders of tomorrow filled with a sense of pride and the eyes of their parents were overjoyed with hundreds of emotions. The visionary behind this grand event of appreciation, Mrs. Gupta inspired everyone present, with her encouraging words. Encouraging and motivating the students for their good work, the event inspired them to outclass in their field further and bring more glories for themselves, their school, their family, and moreover, for their great nation!
INVESTITURE CEREMONY BESTOWS NEW ROLES ON THE FUTURE LEADERS
To inculcate leadership qualities in students and to give them a platform to be a member of the school's administrative body, the Investiture ceremony was recently organized at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. Packed with voluminous commitment and confidence, our young torchbearers were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school. Graced by the honourable chairperson of Presidium, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, the ceremony appreciated and encouraged the newly elected School Council members and enlightened everyone on the importance of finding the leader within. It was followed by acknowledgement of the Student Council and announcement of school profiles. Club mentors were then invited on stage for a Group photo-shoot. It was indeed a proud moment for the Presidium family as the council members took office and received their badges from their beloved Sudha Ma’am.
PRESIDIANS SHOWCASE WONDERS OF TECHNOLOGY ON WORLD TECHNOLOGY DAY
It’s not that we use technology, we live technology!
In the light of the aforementioned statement, our students of grades 3 and 7 recently presented a special assembly on World Technology Day. Starting off with a rousing skit on the theme, the Presidians gave the message that it is technology, due to which, faraway places have come closer, the pace of life has increased, communication is rapid, travel is fast, movement is easy, action is quick, interaction has sped up and so has life. Things that once took hours to be completed, can be done in seconds today. The leaders of tomorrow summed up the assembly by enlightening everyone about the history of the day and how successfully India achieved a major technological breakthrough by carrying out nuclear tests in Pokhran, Rajasthan.
TAGORE JAYANTI FILLS PRESIDIANS WITH DEEP RESPECT FOR THE PRODIGY

To commemorate one of India’s greatest poets, playwrights and dramatists, Rabindranath Tagore, our grade 9 wordsmiths recently put forth an entrancing presentation on his inspiring life. The Presidians began with a beauteous dance performance on Tagore's music and depicted his personality and major incidents of his life in an artistic way. A small quiz on Tagore was also taken, wherein students' knowledge about this honourable personality was enhanced. It was truly, a day full of fun and learning!
PRESIDIANS LEARN TO RESPECT EVERY WORKER ON WORLD LABOUR'S DAY
One can do anything but not everything, so we need the support of people around us to achieve our goals!
In the light of the aforementioned statement, the International Labour's Day was celebrated with a special assembly by our students of grades 4 and 7 at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. A celebration of labourers and the working classes, the special assembly started by introducing the topic and talking about different types of workers, who are important to us and who make our life comfortable. The students dressed up as a milkman, fire-fighter, security guard, soldier, policeman, farmer, teacher, chef, doctor, house helpers, gardener and army man, as a part of role play. They performed wonderfully and enthralled the audience. An amazing dance performance on the labour day song, accompanied by a singing performance was also presented by the students to highlight the importance of literacy and education. Enhancing dignity of labour in the hearts of leaders of tomorrow, the day emphasized on the need to respect each and every person, for whatever they do to enhance the stature of the country.
YOUNG SPORTS STARS OUTSHINE IN THE INTER-PRESIDIUM TABLE TENNIS

The budding sports stars of Presidium Indirapuram have always managed to steer their path towards success, when it comes to their favourite sports and their wonderful performance in the 3rd Inter-Presidium Table Tennis Tournament Championship, truly proved this. Graced by our beloved Sudha Ma'am, the honourable chairperson of Presidium, the competition witnessed participation of more than 132 students from different branches. 30 matches under different age categories for both Boys and Girls, wherein our team bagged the Runners-Up titles in both Under-12 Girls category and Under-15 Boys category. The eyes of our young leaders of tomorrow twinkled with pride on getting honoured with the prestigious trophies, shields and certificates from Sudha Ma'am.

SPIC MACAY TRANSCENDS PRESIDIANS INTO THE WORLD OF DANCE
On the occasion of World Dance Day we were the honoured hosts of a distinct Spic Macay event. Spic Macay has illuminated our hearts with the divine light emanating from the most illustrious stars of Indian classical dance and music. Spic Macay’s intention is to enrich the quality of formal education by increasing awareness about different aspects of Indian heritage and inspiring the young mind to imbibe the values embedded in it. We were gratified to have the foremost among the leading Kathak exponents Guru Smt.Geetanjali Lal. She has an extraordinary stage presence and her performances bring to life the beauty of the Mughal and Rajput paintings. The school premises was deluged in soulful notes emanating from the exceptional performances leaving everyone hypnotised and transcended to another world.
PRESIDIANS PRESENT A LAUDATION TO THE SUPREME WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

To commemorate one of England’s greatest poets, playwrights and dramatists, William Shakespeare; Wordsmiths of Grades VII and IX recently showcased an enchanting performance of Shakespeare’s famous play, Macbeth.Starting with an energetic dance performance, the students rightly set the mood for the play. The audiences were actively engaged in the quiz session in which they had to guess the meanings of the words invented and exclusively used by Shakespeare in his plays. The actors invoked Bard of Avon’s blessings through their passionate performance on stage. It was a truly enchanting assembly which was a surreal experience for everyone.

Dancing …is like dreaming with your feet!
To acquaint Presidians with the importance and different forms of dance, our bubbly angels of Prep-C, presented a special assembly to celebrate World Dance Day. This day holds a lot of significance as it grabs the attention of the wider audience towards the art of dance. On the special assembly, some amazing and unknown facts about different dances were shared by the students. They also performed stunningly on diverse dance styles like Bhangra, Salsa, Classical and Hip-hop. The assembly was an entertaining and learning experience for the students. It was indeed a splendid show by the supremely talented children.
PRESIDIANS BRIGHTEN HOPE FOR A GREENER TOMORROW ON EARTH DAY

To brighten hope for a green tomorrow, young students of grades nursery and prep recently celebrated Earth Day at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. An assortment of activities like nature walk, preparation of beautiful craft to save water & electricity, and collecting twigs, pebbles & dry leaves, was taken up wholeheartedly by the leaders of tomorrow. They also had a fruitful interaction with community helpers to enhance their understanding about caring for nature. Developing a sense of ownership towards plants in their little hearts, the assembly witnessed rousing performances including speeches, poems and dance act on the song ‘earth was in it together’. Pledging for a greener environment and a better tomorrow, the Presidians were duly applauded for their truly magnificent initiative!
