YOUNG PRESIDIANS ENJOY & EXPLORE THE SEASONAL WONDERS OF NATURE
“In every walk with nature, one receives more than he seeks”- John Muir
Presidium strongly believes in experiential learning and that knowledge shouldn’t be restricted to the four walls of the classroom. Hence, the students of grade 5 were taken for a ‘Nature Walk’ recently. The walk helped them to understand why forests are important in our life. Children explored various seasonal plants, flowers, insects, and birds. They also ran, hugged trees, searched for animal trails & found the fallen leaves and feathers. The students carefully marked their observations in their social science book. Nature walks help students to be more creative, happy and to become caretakers of our wild planet when they grow up. Overall, it was an adventurous day spent amongst the wonders of nature.

YOUNG PRESIDIANS OBSERVE 'WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY'
Tobacco use is one of the most important preventable causes of premature death in the world. More than 6 million people per year die from tobacco use across the globe. To disseminate the idea of eliminating tobacco from our lives, an enlightening assembly was presented by grade 7 on the occasion of ‘World No Tobacco Day’. The message was well conveyed to the audience through an enlivening street play, showing the perilous effects of the consumption of tobacco. The students performed small role plays and imparted the vital message; ‘Say no to tobacco’ in fun filled way. At last, a pledge was taken by all to abstain themselves from tobacco.
