AYUSH WINS A TABLET FOR ACING THE BYJU'S NATIONAL APTITUDE TEST
We are elated to congratulate Ayush Jain, a grade 9 student of Presidium Dwarka 16B, for his brilliant performance in his age category in the National Aptitude Test, organized in collaboration with the famous BYJU'S Learning Application. The organization also awarded the young genius with a Tablet. Highly valued and cherished by all schools and students nationally, this test has been conducted at Presidium for more than 4 years in a row.
FOOD FIESTA OFFERS GASTRONOMIC DELIGHTS AT PRESIDIUM DWARKA 16B
The preparation of good food is merely another expression of art, one of the joys of civilized living!
At Presidium Dwarka 16B, we aim at nurturing the students into individuals with a cosmopolitan outlook, so that they can value the cultural amalgamation that India boasts of. Considering that food is the finest way to understand the culture of any nation or state, a food fiesta was recently conducted by our Environmental Studies (EVS) department for grade 3 students. Young Presidians presented various national and international cuisines like Punjabi, Assamese, Italian, Rajasthani, Bengali, Kashmiri, Continental and Chinese, at different food stalls with love and zeal. To add more colour to the event, the students came dressed in traditional wear of the state cuisine they were representing. Strengthening the Presidians' understanding of the theme ‘food’, this event also provided them a sneak peek into the rich Indian culture.
ELOCUTION COMPETITION: OUR YOUNG ORATORS DAZZLE ON THE STAGE
Elocution is an art, which can be mastered through repeated observation, hearing and practice!
Considering the importance of being vocally eloquent and to develop the communication skills of our students of grades 4 and 5, an Elocution Competition on the theme 'mother' was recently organized at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. The students were very expressive and delivered speeches with great confidence. Thoroughly impressing the audience with their diction, gestures and content, the young orators beautifully expressed their love and admiration for their mothers. It was a day full of learning and love!
LITTLE PRESIDIANS EXCITEDLY PERFORM IN RHYME RECITATION CONTENT
Rhymes not only develop speaking skills of children, but also help in expressing their feelings through facial expressions and gestures. They also play an important role in student’s language and its development.
To provide a great platform to all the grade prep students, an Intra-Class Rhyme Recitation Competition was recently organized at Dwarka 16B. The children joyously expressed themselves through words and their self-introduction, content, confidence, voice modulation, expressions, clarity of speech, costumes, props, and overall presentation was excellent. All the students performed with great energy and enjoyed being dressed up beautifully according to different themes. It was indeed a great show put up by the little Presidians!
PRESIDIANS CHERISH THE GLORY OF MOTHERHOOD ON MOTHER'S DAY
The truest and purest meaning of the word ‘unconditional’ can be found in a mother’s love!
To cherish and celebrate this love, Mother’s day was celebrated in Presidium Dwarka 16B to honour all the mothers and express gratitude to them. Presidians of grades nursery to 10th rejoiced in this privilege to cherish, and admire our most prized possession gifted to us by God, our mother. They acknowledged the efforts of their mother by various special assemblies wherein they recited rhymes, shared thoughts and their feelings for their mothers. The atmosphere came alive with many foot tapping dance performances, dedicated to mothers. The celebration was a befitting symbol of love, selflessness and compassion for mothers around the world!

Our young Presidians continue adorning the school with numerous achievements in a plethora of academic and creative fields. We hereby congratulate our gifted students Rhea Shekhar, Anushka Uniyal, Ananya Sharma, Garima Joshi and Michelle Clancy for clinching third position in Bollywood Group Dance at the National Bal Kala Utsav. Held at Tamil Sangam, RK Puram last year, this esteemed competition gave us an exuberant moment to relish the accomplishment of our talented children.
SUDHA MA'AM HONOURS THE YOUNG ACHIEVERS OF PRESIDIUM DWARKA 16B
Presidians continue their relentless efforts towards achieving honour and glory and they outshine themselves with every passing year by bringing bountiful laurels to the school. Our honourable chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta recently acknowledged the efforts of our extraordinary achievers who proved their mettle this year also, by bringing home top honours in various fields at the event - Chairperson Honours. Getting recognized by their dearest Sudha Ma'am, the leaders of tomorrow filled with a sense of pride and the eyes of their parents were overjoyed with hundreds of emotions. The visionary behind this grand event of appreciation, Mrs. Gupta inspired everyone present, with her encouraging words. Encouraging and motivating the students for their good work, the event inspired them to outclass in their field further and bring more glories for themselves, their school, their family, and moreover, for their great nation!
INVESTITURE CEREMONY BESTOWS NEW ROLES ON THE FUTURE LEADERS
To inculcate leadership qualities in students and to give them a platform to be a member of the school's administrative body, the Investiture ceremony was recently organized at Presidium, Dwarka 16B. Packed with voluminous commitment and confidence, our young torchbearers were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school. Graced by the honourable chairperson of Presidium, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, the ceremony appreciated and encouraged the newly elected School Council members and enlightened everyone on the importance of finding the leader within. It was followed by acknowledgement of the Student Council and announcement of school profiles. Club mentors were then invited on stage for a Group photo-shoot. It was indeed a proud moment for the Presidium family as the council members took office and received their badges from their beloved Sudha Ma’am.
PRESIDIANS SHOWCASE WONDERS OF TECHNOLOGY ON WORLD TECHNOLOGY DAY
It’s not that we use technology, we live technology!
In the light of the aforementioned statement, our students of grades 3 and 7 recently presented a special assembly on World Technology Day. Starting off with a rousing skit on the theme, the Presidians gave the message that it is technology, due to which, faraway places have come closer, the pace of life has increased, communication is rapid, travel is fast, movement is easy, action is quick, interaction has sped up and so has life. Things that once took hours to be completed, can be done in seconds today. The leaders of tomorrow summed up the assembly by enlightening everyone about the history of the day and how successfully India achieved a major technological breakthrough by carrying out nuclear tests in Pokhran, Rajasthan.
TAGORE JAYANTI FILLS PRESIDIANS WITH DEEP RESPECT FOR THE PRODIGY

To commemorate one of India’s greatest poets, playwrights and dramatists, Rabindranath Tagore, our grade 9 wordsmiths recently put forth an entrancing presentation on his inspiring life. The Presidians began with a beauteous dance performance on Tagore's music and depicted his personality and major incidents of his life in an artistic way. A small quiz on Tagore was also taken, wherein students' knowledge about this honourable personality was enhanced. It was truly, a day full of fun and learning!
