“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world!” - Nelson Mandela
These powerful words from the great leader, Nelson Mandela have become the driving force behind almost every modern educational revolution that has taken place in our times. A popular and first black president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela (1918-2013) helped bring an end to apartheid and has been a global advocate for human rights. His actions landed him in prison for nearly three decades and made him the face of the anti-apartheid movement, both within his country and internationally. A symbol of making global peace, he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. To pay a heartwarming tribute to this heroic leader, our talented Presidians from grade 4 organized a special assembly on Nelson Mandela Day. They remembered this dignified personality and his achievements and hardwork were highlighted to inspire the students in the audience. Serving as a knowledgeable muse, this enriching morning assembly at Presidium Dwarka 16B was indeed an extraordinary experience for everyone.
