Elocution means eloquence, fluent or persuasive speaking. Effective speech has deep roots in elocution – the pronunciation, the accent, the grammar, the tone and the gestures play a key role in forming a meaningful and desired message. Elocution has been considered a key aspect of learning the art of communication. To master this art and to highlight their array of talents, our students are given ample stage exposure and opportunities. They continue to astound us with their fantastic flair of speech and impeccable choice of words.
The Inter-club Elocution competition was another standing example of their amazing oratory skills. Grade IV and V spoke with remarkable awareness, balance, authenticity, and confidence which is commendable for students of such young age.
The student audience were impressed by the confidence exhibited by their peers as they voiced their opinionsthrough strong and powerful words in the interesting competition where each one of them tried to outshineto the best of their abilities. Such healthy competitions help students gain valuable public speaking skills and confidence.
