The school premises came alive with the mellifluous notes emanating from the classical vocals, the soulful tunes of the instruments and the enthralling classical dance rendition by Ms. Mahua Shanker, a renowned Kathak dancer and her team of artists as Presidium Dwarka 16b celebrated World Dance Day. Presidians witnessed the captivating extravaganza and were spellbound by the sheer magic created on stage.
An interactive session followed the performances wherein, the students got the opportunity of interacting with the artist. The Vice-Principal, Ms. Roopali Kudesia presented the artists with tokens of appreciation. This event was truly an alluring insight into the Indian culture and heritage. It garnered a sense of respect, love and appreciation for India history and culture and develop a liking for the delicate nuances of dance, music and other creative art forms.
