The festival of Holi is observed as a festival of great social significance. To instill social values and make students understand the importance of the festival, students of grade II-D presented a short skit and a beautiful performance.
To give a colorful start to the assembly Bhavya and Dhanishtha of II D welcomed all teachers by putting tilak on their forehead. Subsequently, the students of Grade II D depicted the story of Holika Dehan. They reinforced the victory of good over evil through the story of Bhakt Prahlad (devotee of Lord Vishnu) and Hiranya Kashyap.
The assembly was culminated with an enthusiastic dance performance on Holi song and strewing dry colors and flowers on each other.
