The students from grade 7 of Presidium Dwarka 16B were recently taught about the concept of 'legislative assembly' and its working by doing a mock session on it. The class was set in a semi-circular form and the speaker was made to sit in the centre facing the MLAs, who raised vital questions of unclean water, water shortage and lack of proper and adequate medical facilities. Upset with the number of deaths in their districts due to these reasons, the MLAs wanted an answer for the same from the Health Minister. MLAs from the ruling party tried to satiate the opposition party but was not able to. They blamed the last government for not cleaning the sewer pipes but ultimately the speaker wanted the ruling party and the Health Minister to take control of the grave situation with more specific solutions and wanted a strict compliance of the same. It was a great learning session for the students.
